Wii U Console Bundle with Swap Force Now Available

Wii U Swap Force Console Bundle SmallThere is a new console bundle for the Wii U which includes Swap Force. This is the 8GB “Basic” edition of the white Wii U console. What makes this special, is that this edition of Swap Force comes with a new special Color Swash Buckler.  This sounds like another Skylander with a special paint job, which means he probably won’t appear as Color Swash Buckler in the game. Still, for collectors, this is the only way to get this character, and it’s doubtful it would get a separate release.

Dino-Rang re-released today at TRU.

“Come ‘Rang or Shine!”

The boomerang throwing Dino-Rang is once again for sale at Toys R Us. From what I can tell, it’s the exact same character, same pose as was released two years ago with Spyro’s Adventure. I am not sure why it’s on sale again, but Toys R Us claims it’s exclusive to them. So if you’ve been wanting a Dino-Rang, now is the time to get him.

Legendary Night Shift Released Today

Legendary Night ShiftLegendary Night Shift was released today for Skylanders Swap Force. Legendary Night Shift is an exclusive to Toys R Us. He is the announced fourth and final legendary Skylander to be released by Toys R Us. Previously released and still available are Legendary Free Ranger, Legendary Lightcore Grim Creeper and Legendary Zoo Lou.

Legendary Zoo Lou was released today exclusive to Toys R Us. In addition to having a new Skylander to pick up. Toys R Us characters were still buy one get one for 40% off at my local Toys R Us. That deal was supposed to have ended on the 2nd, but at least at my local Toys R Us it was still active. So try to grab him soon or call your store to see if the BOGO 40% off sale is still going on.

Also, today started the promotion where you can get a free Skylanders Show and Go case with a purchase of $50 or more. And still going on is the deal to get an exclusive Metallic Green Gill Grunt (series 2/Giants version) with total purchase of $100 or more. As my local Toys R Us representative explained it to me, you do not have to spend all $100 during one trip. It can accumulate between 10/13 and 12/31, as long as you use your TRU Rewards card. In January, TRU will e-mail coupons for the free Metallic Green Gill Grunt if you have met the $100 qualification. The Metallic Green Gill Grunt is scheduled to be available 1/18/14.

Wave 1 Swap Force Skylanders

Today I was out in the stores and I noticed a few more sporadic Wave 2 release characters at Target and Toys R Us. So they are getting out there although in very limited supply still. Yesterday I ran down the list of the new Wave 2 Skylanders. Today I want to recap what has already been released with Wave 1. Here is the list of Wave 1 Skylanders:

Ready to Go!

I’m officially removing the “Under Construction” tag. I still have a lot I want do with the site, but I have all of the Swap Force character pages up and ready to go. So while I work on getting some videos up to support those characters, I figure the site is no longer truly under construction. It is lacking a lot of content I know, but the site is going to be a living, evolving project and it’s time to get posting!

Under Construction

SkylanderNutts is currently under construction. We are working on updating the database with all of the Skylanders Swap Force characters. We plan on eventually having unboxings, character reviews, videos of all of the characters and games. We will also do the same for a wide variety of Skylander toys, clothing and accessories. We will have the latest news on new character releases as well as any other cool and exciting Skylander information. We will also highlight any sales that occur, so you can grab your favorite figures at a reduced cost. We should have the Swap Force pages created shortly, and will soon be able to focus more on recent news and rumors as well as creating and posting those videos.
