The Golden Queen is an Earth trappable villain and is the leader of the Doom Raiders in Skylanders Trap Team. She is a wicked queen made entirely of gold and is rich beyond her wildest imagination. But that isn’t enough for the Golden Queen. If there is more to be had, then have it she wants. So she stole and stole and stole, but it was never enough, there was always more to be had. Through evil sorcery she even learned how to turn people and objects into solid gold. However, that was still not enough. The idea that there was treasure in Skylands that was not hers infuriated her. She began a quest to take every last cent of it, but she couldn’t do it alone. That is when she formed the Doom Raiders – the most notorious group of villains ever assembled. She promised riches, world domination, and even all-you-can-eat shrimp just to recruit special criminals to her cause. Together they terrorized Skylands until Master Eon and the Trap Masters put a stop to them and locked them up in Cloudcracker Prison!
Head Rush and Nitro Head Rush – Skylander Review
Head Rush is a new Earth Trap Master making her debut in Skylanders Trap Team. Head Rush was raised in a small village that was controlled by the spell of a powerful Harvest Sphinx. The Sphinx frightened villagers into plowing the vast fields of golden grass for his own benefit. None of the villagers were brave enough to confront the Sphinx, but Head Rush believed that if she could somehow inspire her people to stand together that they could fight back. She charged through the village using her mighty yodel to wake the villagers from their spell. With the village behind her, she was able to lead the charge to drive the Sphinx from the village for good. For her leadership and bravery she was made a member of the Trap Team where she now uses her Traptanium horns to take charge of evil!
Rocky Roll – Skylander Review
Rocky Roll is a new core Earth Skylander making his debut in Trap Team. Rocky Roll is the combination of two great friends coming together to act as one. Rocky was a rock digger who wanted to make a difference, and Roll was a boulder that wanted to see the world. They met each other in mining school when they were young. They discovered that they both shared the same goal: to make the sacred journey to Peek’s Peak. Many years passed when one day they found each other traveling on the same path towards the mythical peak. They remembered the friendship and magical connection they had in mining school and realized that they were meant to journey far and wide together. They went on several adventures together and one day they had a chance meeting with Master Eon. Master Eon recognized that they had a special bond and made them the awesome Skylander duo of Rocky Roll.
Ok, this week I have the collection of Earth Portal Pops and Rests for the Trap Team characters. It’s basically the entrances and rest animations for all of the Earth elements.
Tussle Sprout – Villain Review
Tussle Sprout is an Earth trappable villain that you will be able to capture on the second level – Know-It-All-Island of Skylanders Trap Team. Because he is green and technically a vegetable, you might think that he is a Life element villain. However, since he grows out of the ground he is actually an Earth element villain. He looks like a Brussels sprout, but he’s even more dangerous than a Brussels sprout. He’s also harder to eat since he releases both poison gas and poison spores.
Wallop – Skylander Review
Wallop is a new Earth Trap Master making his debut in Trap Team. Wallop comes from the volcanic lava pits of Mount Scorch where he was an apprentice weapon maker. His people make the most awesome weapons in all of Skylands. Wallop was one of the best apprentices his masters had ever seen. He would use hammers in both hands to quickly shape the hot metal into the sharpest swords or the hardest axes. One day, a fierce fire viper awoke from deep within the volcano and began to attack Wallop’s village. Wallop battled the beast with his two massive hammers and defeated the giant fire snake. Now Wallop uses two Traptanium infused hammers to fight with the Skylanders and protect all of the Skylands.
Fist Bump – Skylander Review
Fist Bump is a new Earth core Skylander making his debut in Trap Team. He used to be the sleeping protector of the Bubbling Bamboo Forest. However, he awoke when a bunch of purple Greebles came to build a new base in the forest. The Greebles used huge rock-smashing machines that cleared out the forest and chewed up the land. This made Fist Bump furious, so he used his enormous stone fists and hammered the ground with all of his strength. This created a massive earthquake that sent shockwaves towards the Greebles. This destroyed the Greebles machines and the Greebles ran off in a panic. Terrafin noticed this act of bravery and brought Fist Bump to Master Eon who made him a Skylander.
Today Conner unboxes Hyper Beam Prism Break. Apparently he battled through the unboxing in great discomfort. Not really. It turns out he was just hungry. But he does say sometimes the strangest things when he is done with an unboxing so I included it as an outtake. Enjoy this Hyper Beam Prism Break unboxing.
Conner is back with another unboxing. We’ve been busy with vacation, and then I was busy with E3 and our other site GameNutts.com so we haven’t been able to post as much as we would like, but hopefully it will start picking up now. Check out the Scorp Unboxing and see what Conner thinks of him. Then let us know what you think about Scorp!
It looks like Doom Stone has been released in the US for the time being to Toys R Us. No word on when other stores will get him, but Toys R Us has had him since Tuesday 5/13. Surprisingly, I didn’t hear news of this until I made it to my local store today. He is the last normal swappable character to be released.
