Snap Shot and Dark Snap Shot - Skylander ReviewSnap Shot is a new Water Trap Master making his debut in Skylanders Trap Team. He comes packaged with the console versions of the game but not the 3DS version. He also has a Dark variant called Dark Snap Shot which is packaged with the special Dark Edition starter pack of Skylanders Trap Team. Snap Shot isn’t your average Trap Master. He is the leader of the Trap Masters. He achieved this position by being the most famous monster hunter in all of Skylands. Snap Shot is a Crocagator that comes from the remote Swamplands. He grew up hunting chompies for fun. After catching every evil critter in his homeland, he wanted a new challenge. He perfected his archery skills by studying with the Elves. He also spent a bunch of time with the wolves who helped him master his hunting skills. Soon he earned the reputation of being the best monster hunter in the Skylands and Master Eon took notice. Master Eon made Snap Shot a Trap Master and he quickly became the leader of the Trap Masters tasked with hunting and capturing the most notorious villains the Skylands had ever known.

Knight Mare – Skylander Review

Knight Mare - Skylander ReviewKnight Mare is the first Dark Element Skylander making her debut in Trap Team. She also happens to be a Trap Master. Before she was a Trap Master though, she was one of the few Dark Centaurs who guarded the Oracle of Stones. The Oracle of Stones was an enchanted game of Dark Skystones that could predict the future. It was very dangerous because if the Oracle was asked the wrong question seven times it would unleash a terrible curse on all of Skylands. One day it was stolen by an unknown force, and Knight Mare was given the task to get it back. Luckily she found it in a cave where a bunch of Biclopes were about to ask it the seventh wrong question. Knight mare charged forward and defeated the Biclopes before they could unleash the terrible curse on Skylands. Now she is a Trap Master where she helps guard all of Skylands.

Lob-Star and Winterfest Lob-Star - Skylander Review Lob-StarLob-Star is a new Water Trap Master making his debut in Trap Team. Lob-Star also has a special Christmas variant called Winterfest Lob-Star.  Lob-Star comes from an undersea kingdom called Star City. He was the owner and head chef of a five-star restaurant. His food was so good, he even cooked for the King Fish. In his spare time, however, he secretly trained in a mysterious art of fighting that few of his kind had ever seen. He kept this secret for a long time, but one day a giant Leviathan threatened to swallow up all of Lob-Star’s guests including the King Fish. Lob-Star had no choice but to reveal his secret abilities and he used his mysterious training to defeat the Leviathan and drive him out of Star City. Master Eon took note and recruited Lob-Star to join the Skylanders. Now with his powerful Traptanium Throwing Stars, Lob-Star protects the Skylands as a Trap Master.

Wallop - Skylander ReviewWallop is a new Earth Trap Master making his debut in Trap Team. Wallop comes from the volcanic lava pits of Mount Scorch where he was an apprentice weapon maker. His people make the most awesome weapons in all of Skylands. Wallop was one of the best apprentices his masters had ever seen. He would use hammers in both hands to quickly shape the hot metal into the sharpest swords or the hardest axes. One day, a fierce fire viper awoke from deep within the volcano and began to attack Wallop’s village. Wallop battled the beast with his two massive hammers and defeated the giant fire snake. Now Wallop uses two Traptanium infused hammers to fight with the Skylanders and protect all of the Skylands.

Krypt King Revealed
“I’ve Got the Edge!”

Activision revealed another new Trap Master at E3 called Krypt King. This Undead Skylander has a huge blade and apparently also spits bugs! Ewww. Can’t wait to see that. Here are his starting card stats. Note: they are out of a possible 250 this time which means the level cap has been raised to 25.
