Lob-Star is a new Water Trap Master making his debut in Trap Team. Lob-Star also has a special Christmas variant called Winterfest Lob-Star. Lob-Star comes from an undersea kingdom called Star City. He was the owner and head chef of a five-star restaurant. His food was so good, he even cooked for the King Fish. In his spare time, however, he secretly trained in a mysterious art of fighting that few of his kind had ever seen. He kept this secret for a long time, but one day a giant Leviathan threatened to swallow up all of Lob-Star’s guests including the King Fish. Lob-Star had no choice but to reveal his secret abilities and he used his mysterious training to defeat the Leviathan and drive him out of Star City. Master Eon took note and recruited Lob-Star to join the Skylanders. Now with his powerful Traptanium Throwing Stars, Lob-Star protects the Skylands as a Trap Master.
Trap Team – Kaos Doom Challenge (Waves 11-20)
Well, it’s been a while since we have done any of the Kaos Doom Challenges, but is changing. With the levels coming to an end, and with Lias and I getting near the end of Arena Battles we are not starting to focus on clearing all of the Doom Challenges. So far it does not feel overly challenging. We are discovering though, that it is a very fast and easy way to build both money and experience for our new Skylanders. Watch as Conner and I play the Kaos Doom Challenge (Waves 11-20) in the Horrible Something Temple and see how we gain several levels for a couple of our newer Skylanders.
Skylanders Day 12/6 And Winterfest Lob-Star
On Saturday 12/6/2014 GameStop will be having another Skylanders Day from open to close. They will be having a number of sales and they’ll be featuring the release of the new special variant Winterfest Lob-Star. This new Skylander will not be exclusive to GameStop, however, there is no word on when it will show up to other retailers. Best Buy has the character listed but it still says “Coming Soon”, and you could get it now off Amazon.com as some people have gotten their hands on it, but you will be paying quite the premium right now.
