Welcome to the final Chapter gameplay video for Skylanders Trap Team. We have played through all 18 chapters, and with this Nightmare Express video we have played through all 4 of the Adventure Packs. Watch as Conner plays as Ka-Boom, and I play as Legendary Deja Vu as we play through an adventure through Flynn’s eyes.

Trap Team – Kaos Doom Challenge (Waves 31-40)
Today we take on the Kaos Doom Challenge (Waves 31-40) in the Twice Doomed Marsh. We’re looking for the difficulty to start to ramp up. This set seems a little more difficult, but still pretty easy overall. Watch as I level up an almost new Cobra Cadabra and Conner ends up fighting with Full Blast Jet-Vac.
Love Potion Pop Fizz on Store Shelves
Lias and I were at our local Target today. As tradition we always stroll through the Skylanders aisle. To our pleasant surprise, we saw a new Skylander that we didn’t have. It was Love Potion Pop Fizz. He is a series 3 special paint variant of Fizzy Frenzy Pop Fizz. Now, I knew he would be out for Valentine’s Day, but I did expect him almost last minute. That seems to be how the special paint Skylanders get released. I checked the online websites of several retailers but none of them show the character yet. Like I said before we found him at Target, but he could also be at Toys R Us and maybe Best Buy. If not, I would expect them to show up soon. Typically these special paint Skylanders stick around anywhere from a few days to a month or two. I think holiday one’s typically can be found for a month. I still see Winterfest Lob Star in the wild. So if you don’t find him in the next day or two, don’t give up hope.
Happy hunting!

Since we have felt like we are a little behind with the Kaos Doom Challenges we decided to take on the next 10 waves today. We have discovered that the Kaos Doom Challenges are an excellent way to bring a new Skylander up to speed quickly. Conner has the idea to start with DroBit but eventually ends up using Torch while I use an almost brand new Hijinx. It’s still not very challenging as we blow through most of these waves. I do however gain many levels for Hijinx. Watch as Conner and I play the Kaos Doom Challenge (Waves 21-30) in the Worst Nightmare Marsh and see how we gain several levels for a couple of our newer Skylanders.
Trap Team – Mirror of Mystery (Chapter 22)
Well, I guess it was random luck that we played through the new element expansion packs in order (Chapter 19, and 20). Today we jump to Chapter 22, as we decided to play the Mirror of Mystery pack before the Nightmare Express Pack. Conner uses Knight Light again, while I explore Ka-Boom for the first time. Watch as we travel into a mirror universe where everything is the opposite of what we have come to know. The villains that we try to catch are a Chompy and Mab Lobs. See if we can find them.
Trap Team – Kaos Doom Challenge (Waves 11-20)
Well, it’s been a while since we have done any of the Kaos Doom Challenges, but is changing. With the levels coming to an end, and with Lias and I getting near the end of Arena Battles we are not starting to focus on clearing all of the Doom Challenges. So far it does not feel overly challenging. We are discovering though, that it is a very fast and easy way to build both money and experience for our new Skylanders. Watch as Conner and I play the Kaos Doom Challenge (Waves 11-20) in the Horrible Something Temple and see how we gain several levels for a couple of our newer Skylanders.
Trap Team Arena Battles – Exhaust Junction
Welcome to the fourth installment of Trap Team Arena Battles. Today Lias and I take on the Exhaust Junction. This is the most challenging (and frustrating) set of arenas we’ve played yet. Guess which one of us gets frustrated and guess which one of us takes it all in stride? We are forced to use a couple of our best ranged characters in this installment so most of the battles are fought with Bushwhack, Wildfire, and Gusto. Give it a watch and let us know if these levels frustrated you as much as it did us.
Trap Team – Sunscraper Spire (Light Element Expansion Pack)
Today the boys and I play the new Sunscraper Spire level from the new Light Element Expansion Pack. I play with the new Knight Light, which I thought was the first time I had played with the character, but actually I did play with him for a brief second on the Midnight Museum level. Conner starts with Knight Mare from the Dark Element Expansion Pack so we start with the forces of Light and Dark working together. Overall we found this level and boss battle to be much more interesting than the Midnight Museum. Give it a watch and let us know what you think.
Trap Team – Midnight Museum (Dark Element Expansion Pack)
We’re back! You might think that once you beat Trap Team that you have nothing else to do. That’s never the case in a Skylanders game. Today we dive into the Dark Element Expansion Pack. It comes with one new level called Midnight Museum. Since it is the first extra level we are playing, it’s listed for us as Chapter 19. I’m guessing it will be a different chapter for you if it’s not your first expansion level. Either way watch as we use our new Knight Mare Dark Element Trap Master and Winterfest Lob-Star (as well as a few others) to tackle this level and try to bring down the new Dark Villain Night Shade.
Trap Team Mega Epic Unboxing (Wave 3)
I am calling this the Trap Team Mega Epic Unboxing Wave 3, but it’s probably more like Wave 3 part 1. We are missing a few Skylanders that I don’t believe have hit store shelves yet in my area. We will either do a Part 2 video or combine those characters into a Wave 4 unboxing. Such is the life of a collector. We have the important Wave 3 Skylanders to unbox like the first Magic Trap Master Blastermind and both the Dark and Light Element Expansion Packs. The boys are ready to play with them, so here is our Trap Team Mega Epic Unboxing (Wave 3).
