Another Skylanders Day January 9th!

GameStop Skylanders Day 1_9_16It was just before Christmas when GameStop held it’s last Skylanders Day. Well, I guess it’s time for another. This Saturday, January 9th they are having another one day sale. If you are still looking to pick up the SuperChargers game, then you’ll be able to save on the starter pack and like before, pick up a second starter pack from one of the older games for free. Nintendo SuperCharger Dual Pack 02The SuperChargers Starter pack will run $39.99 which isn’t bad considering you get another game free as well. They will also be having another Buy One Free Get One Free on SuperChargers characters and vehicles. You’ll also be able to pick up the Kaos Trophy Cup, however, it is available now online for $7.99. The ad also shows the new Nintendo SuperChargers Dual Packs which will sell for $24.99 ea. Of course those will only work on the Wii, Wii U and 3DS versions of the game. Sorry Xbox and PlayStation owners. You’ll also be able to save 50% off of Racing Packs and the other Combo Packs Nintendo SuperChargers Dual Pack 01(though it doesn’t look like that includes the new Nintendo packs), but they do show the Sky Racing Pack featuring Astroblast and Sun Runner. In fact he should be available this Saturday, June 27th during GameStop’s next Skylanders Day. If you have been waiting for a sale, now is the time. GameStop will be offering a Buy One Get One Free on all Trap Masters, core Skylanders, and even Eon’s Elite. You can also get a free Water Trap with purchase of any other trap. They will also have a Steampunk Shrednaught Tech Trap exclusive to GameStop. You can get that trap free when you pre-order Skylanders SuperChargers. GameStop Skylanders Day Tomorrow 1/10GameStop is having another Skylanders Day tomorrow 1/10. The big draw will probably be the new Light and Dark Expansion Packs. GameStop is giving you $10 off when you buy both of them. They are $29.99 each normally. Also they will have the three new Trap Masters: Ka-Boom, Tuff Luck and Blastermind. If you buy one of those you can then get a trap for just $.99. Other traps will be buy 2 get 1 free, and you’ll be able to save $5 off of any of Eon’s Elite making those just $19.99 each. And finally you will be able to pick up the Trap Team starter pack for just $44.99 for all consoles, or $34.99 for the tablet version. Skylanders Day at GameStopThere is going to be another Skylanders Day at GameStop coming this Saturday June 21st. This means that single character packs will be buy one get one free. Also, all starter packs will be 50% off, including the GameStop exclusive Dark Starter Packs. GameStop also is giving away the Swap Force Skylander Wind-Up with pre-orders of Skylanders Trap Team ONLY on the 21st. He was a pretty cool figure previously only available in the Tower of Time Adventure Pack. He has just been released in a single pack. Skylanders Sale at GameStop

GameStop Skylanders SaleIt looks like GameStop has decided to add their hat to the Skylanders Sales that are going on at Target and Toys R Us. GameStop is also offering a Buy 2 get 1 free deal on core characters ($9.99) However unless you have no Skylanders, DO NOT take advantage of this deal online. When you order Skylanders online through a promotion like this, you have no control over what characters are sent to you. This is mostly due to the fact that GameStop seems to give each different character the same SKU. So if you want to take advantage of the Buy 2 get 1 free deal, I would suggest you actually go to the store.

Also on sale are the Starter Packs. This INCLUDES the GameStop Exclusive Dark Edition of Skylanders Swap Force. This is the only way to get the five Dark Swap Force Characters:

The regular Starter Pack is on sale for $49.99 while the Dark Edition is on sale for $59.99. GameStop is also offering an additional $10 off a Starter Pack when any old Portal is traded in.

Skylanders Day at GameStop 1/11/2014

Skylanders DayGameStop has announced that Saturday January 11th will be another “Skylanders Day”. For one day only customer’s can take advantage of some special promotions such as:

  • The first 25 customers will receive an exclusive Skylanders Poster.
  • Free Skylanders Mini for every $20 spent on Skylanders products. (Giant versions pictured)
  • All Swap Force Starter Packs will be $20 off.
  • Save 50% off any Skylanders Accessory.
  • Save $10 off any Swap Force Starter pack when trading in any previous Skylanders Portal.
  • 30% extra trade in credit towards any Swap Force Starter Pack.

There is no mention of having any new Wave 3 Skylanders, but hopefully this sale will also see the release of a few new characters. I think they did this same thing last year right after some new characters were released. For more information checkout GameStop’s webpage here:
