Welcome to SkylanderNutts Plays Trap Team – Chapter 5! This level is called Chef Zeppelin. We do the usual exploring of the Academy and this time play an interesting rhythm game before going on to play the chapter. This chapter has us fighting the boss Chef Pepper Jack who will prove to be a powerful ally once captured.

Well, we knew Wave 2 for Skylanders Trap Team would come out pretty fast after Wave 1, but I did not think it would be just two days later. Most everything was out at Toys R Us on the Tuesday after release. By Friday even Best Buy had Wave 2 items available for in store pickup. (However, the items were not on store shelves when I picked up ours). We picked up everything we could between the two stores, so here is our Mega Epic Unboxing (Wave 2) Skylanders. Hopefully we won’t have a Wave 3 any time soon, so we can get back to playing the game instead of collecting and unboxing. We’re back to take a look at the second level of Skylanders Trap Team called Know it all Island. However, before we get to the second level we spend about 20 minutes exploring the Academy for the first time. I had to cut out two mini cut scenes during the level to avoid copyright infringement again. It also took a couple days of remastering the video until I could identify which part was giving the problem. Now that Wave 2 characters are out (unboxing video to come very soon), we should start to post more levels at a faster rate. Until then, enjoy this look at Know it all Island.
Welcome to the first installment of SkylanderNutts plays Trap Team. In this series we just casually play through the game for the first time.
Today we play through Soda Springs (Chapter 1) of Skylanders Trap Team for the first time. Conner and Lias join me on the open mic as we start at the very beginning. We show the intro movie and then tackle level one. You’ll notice that we had to cut the scene out where we meet Sheep Creep. Unfortunately that scene caused the video to get banned worldwide thanks to Activision. So we cut it and now you can enjoy a look at the rest of the first level. This year instead of having Conner just do single unboxings, we are all going to unbox as many as we can. So today Skylanders Trap Team was released and after a day of shopping we have our first Trap Team Mega Epic Unboxing. We unbox almost everything that came out today as part of the Wave 1 release of characters for Trap Team including both the 3DS version of the game and the Limited Dark Edition. What we did not unbox was the Nightmare Express Adventure Pack, Nitro Krypt King and Legendary Jawbreaker. We should be getting these items in the mail soon. So we might have to do another Mini-Mega Epic Unboxing when we get those. I mention in the video that we would attach a look at the first level to the game. Well, this video was almost an hour long, so we will just post a separate video for a look at the first level. Also, this was the first time all three of us did an unboxing video. As such we used a different microphone set up, and the placement wasn’t the best as occasionally I block the microphone and muffle the sound a little. I think we can fix that for next time. So sit back and enjoy the three of us as we tear through the first wave of Skylanders for Skylanders Trap Team.
It’s time to take a look at the returning favorite Skylanders to Trap Team. These have been in at least one previous game and would be a series 2, series 3, or series 4 Skylander. There are only five returning characters this year which I think is a good thing. I’d much rather have new characters than re-posed existing characters. Now it’s time to Meet the Trap Team: Returning Favorites.
Skylanders Trap Team is almost out, and we almost have the full list of new Core Skylanders for Skylanders Trap Team. We now know all 19 of the core Skylanders set for Trap Team. There are 16 base new figures, and three special named variants: Dark Food Fight, Legendary Blades and Legendary Deja Vu. It appears that all three Frito-Lay characters were always going to be characters in the game, but it was their names that came from the contest winners. It’s possible that by then end of Trap Team, we may learn of a couple more special named variants of the 16, but for now, this is all of the New Core Skylanders. It’s time to meet the Trap Team Skylanders: New Core.
OK, we are getting dangerously close to release of Skylanders Trap Team. Here is a look at the trailers for all 20 of the new Trap Masters. That’s right there are 20 so far, with the possibility of more later. There are 16 regular variants and 4 special named variants (Dark Snap Shot, Dark Wildfire, Legendary Jawbreaker, and Nitro Krypt King).
