After seeing the second edition of Eon’s Elite characters, which look far cooler than the first edition characters, I’ve decided to collect and cover the series. It also didn’t hurt that there was a buy one get one free sale at Gamestop a few weeks ago as the original retail price of $24.99 was just too much! In this video we unbox one of the figures to show you how they are packaged.
Blackout is a new core Dark Skylander making his debut in Trap Team. In fact he is the very first core Dark Element Skylander. He comes from the Realm of Dreams where the collective imagination of all creatures in the universe come together to form wonderful dreams and terrible nightmares. When he was young he was recruited into the Dark Stygian, which was a Dragon Clan whose job it was to create nightmares for evil creatures. This was done to hopefully discourage the creatures from any more bad behavior. But the clan found amusement in creating nightmares for others and began to spread nightmares to everyone. Blackout would not stand for this behavior and learned to teleport himself into the nightmares to fight the creatures within. Eventually, the nightmares reached Master Eon who witnessed Blackout’s courage within his own dreams. After helping Blackout put an end to the Dark Stygian, he made Blackout a Skylander who now serves as protector of the Realm of Dreams and beyond.
Brawl & Chain is the second angry walrus pirate villain that you will meet on your adventures through Skylands. The first was Brawlrus which we have previously reviewed. This angry walrus pirate though is actually a water element villain as you might expect. He does have chains for arms and sharp hooks for hands so he too could technically qualify to be a Tech villain. But I guess you can’t have almost the same character in the exact same element, that would be too noticeable. You know what they say: No chains, no pain so I guess he does make a good villain with his chain arms and all. You can judge for yourself after you capture him on level 6 – Rainfish Riviera.

High Five is a new core Life Skylander making his debut in Trap Team. He grew up as one of the most skilled racers of all the dragonflies. He was the fifth son of the Royal High Flying Dragonflies, but he was too young to enter any of the racing tournaments. He watched as his four older brothers competed for the famous Trophy of Sparx. During the biggest race of the season, High Five learned that the Troll Racing Team had stolen the Trophy of Sparx and were going to use the race to cover their escape. High Five jumped into the race and used his amazing flying skills to make his way to the front where he caught up with the trolls and brought them down. For his bravery and skill he was given the Trophy of Sparx. He was also made a Skylander where he can now run circles around evil.
Fisticuffs was a mystery element villain that can be captured near the end of Level 10 – Secret Sewers of Supreme Stink in Skylanders Trap Team. Once you use one of the Dark or Light expansion packs in the game, you will update the game to know about the Light and Dark elements. Fisticuffs then becomes a Dark element villain and you will need to capture him in one of the Dark traps. He’s another one of those strange villains that don’t really match there element type. When you first see Fisticuffs and his large mechanical fist extend far from his body, you would swear that he would be a Tech element villain. I guess things arn’t always as they seem. In fact, some would say that Fisticuffs speaks softly and caries a big fist. But speaking isn’t his strong suit, pounding enemies into the ground with his monster sized fist is.
Ok, here is the collection of Fire Portal Pops and Rests for the Trap Team characters. We have nine entrances and rest animations for all of the Fire elements.
Rocky Roll is a new core Earth Skylander making his debut in Trap Team. Rocky Roll is the combination of two great friends coming together to act as one. Rocky was a rock digger who wanted to make a difference, and Roll was a boulder that wanted to see the world. They met each other in mining school when they were young. They discovered that they both shared the same goal: to make the sacred journey to Peek’s Peak. Many years passed when one day they found each other traveling on the same path towards the mythical peak. They remembered the friendship and magical connection they had in mining school and realized that they were meant to journey far and wide together. They went on several adventures together and one day they had a chance meeting with Master Eon. Master Eon recognized that they had a special bond and made them the awesome Skylander duo of Rocky Roll.
Eye Scream is a mystery element villain that can be captured near the end of the Monster Marsh level of Skylanders Trap Team. Eye Scream will be unable to be trapped until you apply one of the Light or Dark expansion packs to the game. At that point you will discover that you need a Dark Trap to capture Eye Scream. Once trapped you will still need to start the level over again in order to get to Eye Scream’s quest which is also found on the Monster Marsh level. She is a rather creepy female monster who constantly complains about her long hair. It’s a good thing she has that long hair because it’s when she moves it and we see her strange eyeball filled mouth then we all scream for Eye Scream!
