Hurricane Jet-Vac Review with Jet Stream

Hurricane Jet-Vac Review with Jet Stream

Hurricane Jet-Vac Review with Jet StreamHurricane Jet-Vac is a new SuperCharged version of Jet-Vac for Skylanders SuperChargers. It seems hard to believe, but he has had a different version of his character in each game since he debuted in Skylanders Giants. He even has another legendary version of his character this year. He is the only Skylander to have a second legendary version. Despite his longevity as a Skylander’s character, his supercharged version will mark the first time that his move set has changed. He still uses a powerful vacuum jet-pack to help him fly since he gave his wings away to help a mother and her children escape when he was young. However, this version of his character no longer has a set of flying attacks. He does however, retain his iconic vacuum suction attack but now it’s supported by a range of new attacks.

SuperChargers SuperCharged Wave 2 Unboxing

Skylanders SuperChargers SuperCharged Wave 2 Unboxing ThumbWe’re back! It’s been only six days since we unboxed our first haul of our Wave 1 characters and game for Skylanders SuperChargers. Wave 2 is a little smaller but that is to be expected with less characters and vehicles to collect this year. So today we unbox the Wave 2 individual character packs (Smash Hit, High Volt, Burn-Cycle, Shark Tank, Stealth Stinger, and Jet Stream) which hit Toys R Us and Amazon today. They should hit other retailers soon, as will the first Triple Pack and a couple of dual packs if you are waiting for deals.

Wave 2 SuperChargers Out Now

Skylanders SuperChargers Wave 2Yesterday I looked back at the Trap Team articles that I wrote about the launch of Wave 2 and was surprised to see, that I got the Wave 2 characters for Trap Team just 2 days after launch. So I made a trip this morning to my local Toys R Us. At first I saw nothing new on the shelves, but after talking to the employee I learned that Wave 2 SuperChargers had just come out today. They had the boxes behind the counter and not even on the shelves yet. So I was able to pick up each of new single pack characters for Wave 2. I checked other retailer’s websites, and it does not appear that Wave 2 is out anywhere else except Amazon.com. Typically Toys R Us gets the jump by a week or two on other retailers, so if you are sticking to GameStop or Best Buy, you may have to wait a while. Best Buy also still has a couple of Character Dual Packs on the website with a release date of 10/2. I would guess this is when they would have the rest of Wave 2 as well.
