Wave 4 Swap Force Characters are here, and today we have the first one to hit store shelves with our Trap Shadow Unboxing! We found him at Toys R Us and it looks like Toys R Us once again will have the characters a few weeks before anyone else as a search of local retailer’s websites has not yielded any results. Here is Conner’s Unboxing!

It looks like Wave 4 Swap Force Skylanders are starting to show up in stores. At least they are starting to show up at Toys R Us. We were at our local Toys R Us this morning and ran into both Trap Shadow and Freeze Blade. These were the only two we could find. A quick look at most of the major retailer websites, does not yield any results for these characters. So for now it looks like these are only at Toys R Us. Like many of the characters before, these tend to show up first at Toys R Us by a couple of weeks, before they make their way to other major retailers. So if you have been patiently waiting for a new Skylander to buy, give your local Toys R Us a call. Stay tuned here for some unboxing videos of these new characters.
Conner is pretty excited for this Spy Rise Unboxing. Spy Rise is a new Tech swappable Skylander for Swap Force. Conner has some initial difficulties but overcomes them well.

Thanks to Target.com it looks like the Nitro Freeze Blade release date will be March 23rd, 2014. It appears that Target will continue to be the “exclusive” provider of the “Nitro” variant characters. Just like Nitro Magna Charge, a product page found on Target.com here, holds the “Only at Target” symbol on it. (If that link is dead then look at the pic I captured here!) The page also reveals the release date for the character to be 3/23/2014. Compare this to the earlier leaked information by Best Buy, and it looks like we are starting to get a picture of when the 4th wave of characters will probably be released. This is the earliest release date so far so it looks like wave 4 should be in full force by the end of March. Remember this is a listing only for the special variant Nitro Freeze Blade, I expect the regular Freeze Blade to be available in Wave 4 at all retailers.

Conner digs in to opening Stink Bomb our first Swap Force Sneak Skylander. Believe it or not, he is excited. He doesn’t really sound like it in this video.
