Well at least one arena battle is back in Skylanders SuperChargers and it’s called Battlebrawl Island. This will be a short walkthrough of this level as there are only two epic treasure chests to find, and there are no vehicle stars to earn in this level. So join me for this rather quick walkthrough of Battlebrawl Island!
It’s finally here! Year 2 of Eon’s Elite characters begins as Elite Voodood is out tomorrow at your local Toys R Us. He is the first of three Eon’s Elite year 2 characters that will be released in November. On November 8th Elite Zook will be released followed by Elite Slam Bam on November 15th. All three of these characters will be exclusive to Toys R Us. Last year it didn’t seem like the characters were very limited, but Toys R Us is limiting 1 per customer per week, so it’s hard to say what the demand will be for these characters this year. If you are interested in Elite Voodood, I would plan on visiting your Toys R Us tomorrow to find out.
Today Conner and I go through the Spell Punk Library in Skylanders SuperChargers. Before we rush off to the Library though, we stop by Ari’s Shop to see what he has for sale. He seems to sell items that you could potentially find in random treasure chests. The Library might only be one chapter, but it’s full of challenges and interesting unique (for Skylanders) level design. Check it out!
As a collector and owner of multiple gaming systems, it is inevitable that I end up buying multiple versions of Skylanders. This year with the inclusion of Nintendo specific Skylanders as part of the SuperChargers Starter Packs, it’s made it a little worse. Through some sales and credit card rewards certificates, I’ve collected most of the Nintendo versions that I want. I got the Wii U version so Lias can play when I’m playing other games on the TV. Conner likes the 3DS version because he prefers to play games on the 3DS. And I got the Wii version because it’s a different game altogether (though it is the same as the 3DS version) and I rather play the Skylanders Racing on the TV. So here is our SuperChargers Nintendo SuperCharged Unboxings of all three of those starter packs to give you a look at the Nintendo specific characters and vehicles.
Today I cautiously make my way through the Land of the Undead in Skylanders SuperChargers. This is the fourth level and it’s rather involved. There is a lot to do, perspective changes to fight through and 7 epic treasure chests to find. Check it out!
Two of our top retailers are showing that all versions of SuperChargers on sale this week. Best Buy has the game for $49.99. Which means if you are a Gamer Club member you can pick this up for just $39.99. Also Amazon.com is showing the game also for $49.99. These should be on sale through the 31st, so give yourself a Halloween present if you don’t already have the game. Today Conner and I find ourselves in the middle of an Arena Battle at Battlebrawl Island (Chapter 21) in Skylanders SuperChargers. But before we do that, Conner is introduced to Sky Racing in Chapter 20. Sky racing probably isn’t Conner’s strong suit, but he will get better. Check it out!
We recently picked up the Legendary Sky Racing Pack for Skylanders SuperChargers. This may be a late entry into the Wave 2 set of Skylanders, or maybe since it’s exclusive to Toys R Us, maybe it just doesn’t belong to a wave. Either way, the boys wanted to use Legendary Astroblast right away, so we did not want to wait for Wave 3 to come out to unbox this one. Enjoy our Legendary Sky Racing Pack Unboxing.
