Today we take another look at Rare Replay. Last time Conner got to try Banjo and Kazooie, but Lias never got a chance to try Kameo. So today we take a look at the original Rare game JetPac as well as the remake Jetpac Refuelled which was released 24 years later. We also play Snake Rattle n Roll, Cobra Triangle, and Underwurlde before Lias finishes off with Kameo. Check it out!

SkylanderNutts Presents – Don’t Starve Together
Today Lias joins me to take a look at Don’t Starve Together. We played the original Don’t Starve when it was free with PlayStation Plus probably a year or two ago. But that was a one player game, and the boys basically just watched me play. This week the latest game Don’t Starve Together is on sale on the Xbox so we picked it up. This version adds the ability to create a server and host your own multiplayer world, which is something we’ve been wanting to do for a while. So check it out as Lias and I play Don’t Starve Together for the first time.

The boys wanted to continue to play through the Rare Replay games so today we take our second look at the compilation. The boys seem to very much enjoy Battletoads, especially the arcade version which allowed them to seemingly have unlimited continues through the levels. Conner also jumps into Banjo-Kazooie for the first time, which is a bit slow to get going, but both boys seemed to enjoy the tutorial and first level. Check it out!

If you know me, then you know I like to find lesser known Indie games that are top rate. This is one of those games. Iconoclasts is a fantastic action/adventure platformer with colorful old school graphics and clever puzzles and bosses. I don’t think the boys have played a game quite like this so I’m excited to see what they think of it. Check it out as we present Iconoclasts.
We are playing Iconoclasts on the PS4, but it is also available on Steam and the PlayStation Vita for $19.99.

Today I finally got around to showing the boys Rare Replay. It’s a collection of 30 Rare games that came out for the Xbox One in 2015 to celebrate Rare’s 30th Anniversary. Today the game can be found for under $20 and it’s truly a lot of game for your buck.
We start exploring those games today by playing Viva Pinata. Conner was very impressed with this old Xbox 360 game. We then tried out some of the older simpler games like Slalom and Atic Atak which were games I was not familiar with. Then we end on R.C. Pro-Am which apparently was only appreciated by me since I grew up playing that game on the old NES.
Since we only got through 4 games, and there are still quite a few decent games left we will probably take another look at this game soon. We probably won’t ever play all 30 games, but we definitely want to hit some of the bigger games that we didn’t get to.

Today I wanted to show off a game that the whole family can play together. This is Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and we are playing it on an Xbox One. The game is built around couch co-op, so I call in Mom and the boys to help me out. Watch as we (actually work together) to finish off the last few levels of the first campaign. If you don’t have anyone to play with, you can still play the game by yourself, but it becomes much harder as you have to direct an AI pet
The game is available now at $14.99 on the Xbox One, PS4, Switch, or Steam.

Back in the 90’s Japanese RPG’s dominated my game hours. So when I heard that a classic Square RPG called Romancing Saga 2 was finally getting a US release, I had to check it out. I originally thought it was only coming out for mobile devices, but as it turns out it’s also on all of the current generation of consoles: PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. I try to take my boys down this memory lane, but they don’t quite have the same nostalgia for the genre that I do. Check out the early gameplay of Romancing Saga 2 which we play on the Xbox One.
If you like our video please give it a thumbs up. If you are not a subscriber, subscribe and you’ll get all of our Skylanders videos as well as other videos on other games we play. We hope you come back, and thanks for watching!

Today I bring another lesser known indie game to the boys. Opus The Day We Found Earth is described as a heartfelt adventure to explore space through the lens of a telescope. That sounded interesting to me, but I wasn’t sure how the boys would take to such a story focused game. The boys have liked space exploration games before, and Conner likes story games like Minecraft Story Mode. But the boys are mostly about action, so it was interesting to see if they would latch on to this game or not. Check it out!
We played this game on the Switch, but it’s also available on Steam, iOS, and Android.

Today I surprise Conner and Lias with Minecraft Story Mode Season 2. Conner loved the first season. Thanks to the Xbox Live Black Friday Sale, I picked up Season 2 for half off. I thought it would be good to show our fans the game in case you’ve never played a Telltale game before. Telltale is known for their choose your own adventure style games. Also, the stories in them are usually pretty good. So, check out our video and let us know what you think of Minecraft Story Mode Season 2.

Thanks to EA Access we got access to Star Wars Battlefront II a few days early. Last time we showed some of the Multiplayer Modes as found in the Beta. Today we are showing off the first few levels of the single player campaign. The boys and I each take part in playing a different level. This turned out to be a little longer of a video than normal because the game flows really nice from level to level making it kind of hard to put down. Enjoy!
We played this on the Xbox One, but it is also out on the PS4 and PC.
If you want to know more about the multiplayer, watch us play the beta here!
