Today we take on the 8th level of Skylanders Ring of Heroes Revamp. We’re a bit behind in our posting, I know, but today we get closer to finishing the Holiday Wheel Spin Event. We also take on Wolfgang and the Undead Realm as we also unlock and investigate Transcendence. Check it out!
Today is an important milestone. We play through the 7th level of Skylanders Ring of Heroes Revamp, the Magic Realm. Not only do we get to face off against maybe one of the best Skylanders villains in Pain-Yatta, we also unlock the Mirage Tower and the ability to use Skill Power Ups. Watch as we make our way through the Rainbow Valley!
Today we easily make our way through the sixth world of Skylanders Ring of Heroes Revamp. Nothing special gets unlocked with the sixth level, so we spend some time trying to get Mysticat and exploring the new holiday event. Check it out!
We continue to make our way through Easy Mode of Ring of Heroes Revamp by playing the fifth level The Golden Desert. Today we unlock some more Skylanders, face the Golden Queen, and finally unlock the guild. Check it out!
Today we are back to take on the Dreamcatcher and The Highland of Mirrors in Skylanders Ring of Heroes Revamp. We also spend about a week’s worth of tickets trying to unlock more legendary characters. Conner thinks he’s figured out how to tell immediately what level Skylander you will pull and we decide to level up an old favorite. Check it out!
Today I show the boys another game they were not aware of called Monster Sanctuary. It’s a new indie title that has come to GamePass that mixes the look of Terraria, the exploration of a Metroidvania with a turn-based RPG and Pokemon like monsters. I like it because of the deep monster skill trees and more complex battle choices. I’m also ok with collecting different characters you can use in battle. The question is, will the boys like it, and will it fill their Monster Collecting and Battling needs? Watch to find out!
Monster Sanctuary was developed by Moi Rai Games and is published by Team17. It’s currently available for the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The base game retails for $19.99 but we are playing it on the Xbox Series X through GamePass.
Today we are taking a look at the Infernal Volcano in Skylanders Ring of Heroes Revamp. One of the boys realizes that this level doesn’t have anymore training parts, but we still are looking to unlock the many extra challenges and modes in the game. We also use some more gems and tickets in hopes of unlocking another Legendary Skylander. Check it out!
In the past Conner and Lias have shown their love for pop and dance music. Whether it comes from Tik Tok videos or Fortnite memes, they have a good knowledge base for some of the more recent hits. Well, I wanted to know if they would have as much fun playing a music mash up game as I do. So today I introduced them to Fuser. It is Harmonix’s latest music game where you get to mix over 100 different songs to create your own masterpieces.
Today I show them a little bit of the campaign and how it teaches you new concepts of what you can do with the music. Then we play a little of the Free Style mode where I let the boys take control. It didn’t take them long before they wanted to control the music themselves. There is also a coop multiplayer mode and an online battle mode but for today we just take a look at the single player gameplay. Check it out!
Fuser is developed by Harmonix and is published by Harmonix and NCSOFT. The game is out now on Windows, Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch with a retail price of $59.99. We purchased the game ourselves on the Xbox One and play it on the Xbox Series X.
The boys and I are back to take another look at the revamped Skylanders Ring of Heroes. We work our way through some more game crashes and the Misty Bog today. The game is still very much in the tutorial phase as we have a couple more training missions within the level. Watch as see how we do against The Gulper and the Misty Bog!
We are back to play the “New” Ring of Heroes. The developers have taken a year to redesign and remake the game. They now call it the Revamped version of Skylanders Ring of Heroes.
Today we check it out by trying to figure out what they’ve changed and how different it really is. They made so many changes they were unable to maintain people’s collections, so they are forcing everyone to start over. They are gifting users a large sum of gems based on the level their old portal master achieved.
Some things are quite different, but a lot of it is very familiar. Watch as we play through the first level “The Singing Forest” on Easy mode and try to learn all of the new features and systems in the new version of the game. Let us know what you think of the changes made.
