Today we continue to play through our Veteran I quests. After playing 10 levels of Distorted Dimensions and beating The Abandoned Factory on Normal Level, we run across a quest that teaches us something. There was a quest which has us combine a number of lower-level ores to make a stronger one. I’m sure we probably did this once before, but it was something we must have forgotten. Now, as high-level elixirs become more necessary and more scarce we are greatly thankful to rediscover this information. Enjoy as we power our way through more of the Veteran I quests!
With Lias out on assignment, I take the time to show Conner another cool couch co-op game that I think he’d like. Today we explore Next Up Hero. It’s an action game that has light RPG and Rouge-Like elements. Each “hero” has its own abilities and attacks which you can improve as you play different “ventures”. There is a light story but the draw here is the ability to create your own “ventures”. Conner very much likes to create his own levels and games so I try to show him games where you can do that. We don’t get to a high enough level to show that part off, but this early look will give him and others an idea if this is the kind of game you want to play and make levels for. Check it out!

Today we just try to hammer out as many of the Veteran I quests as we can. We get pretty far, but eventually, we get stuck on some Arena Battles. However, along the way, we play some more Kaos Challenges and keep our streak of unlocking a new Skylander each episode intact. Check it out!

We’re back to finish our playthrough of The Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Today we start the third and final game, Spyro Year of the Dragon. As with the other games, the changes between the games is minimal. We meet a couple of new bad guys as Spyro is tasked with recovering a bunch of stolen dragon eggs. So once again we explore lands, fly to different levels and retrieve the collectibles. Even Moneybags is back to charge us for upgrades again. The one new thing we find is that we occasionally need to play as a new character. One of the levels we play today sees Lias having to use Sheila the Kangaroo. So check it out and see what the boys initially think about this third game in the trilogy.
Also, you may notice that we talk about some other videos which have already been posted. Well, stay tuned and in our next video that will be explained!

Today we start making our way through our Veteran I quests in Skylanders Ring of Heroes. These quests are getting much harder and longer to complete than with previous quest lines. This means we’ll spend a lot of time in the Distorted Dimension, and the Realm of Souls. We’re even tasked with completing 5 of the 7 levels of The Shrine of Light.
After reviewing future quests and not seeing any that tell us to beat The Shrine of Light, we just go ahead and fight Luminous today. We even finish off the Master Eon’s Guide and collect a new 5-star Skylander. It turns out being a rather long video, and we had our struggles but we do finish the main storyline of Skylanders Ring of Heroes. Check it out!

Today I present to the boys another game I think they’d like. This is the critically acclaimed 2D action-platformer called Hollow Knight. It started out on the PC in 2017 but then came to the Xbox and PS4 late last year. Now as they are gearing up to release their sequel Hollow Knight: Silksong, I wanted to try out the highly rated original game. Also, it was free with our GamePass subscription, so why not?! Check it out and see what the boys and I think about this game!
Hollow Knight is developed by Team Cherry and is available on the PC, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One.

Today we finish a few things in Skylanders Ring of Heroes. First, though, we took an update. This is our first look at version 1.0.11. It doesn’t add much, but the most noticeable changes are some new UI screens for Quests and Master Eon’s Guide. It also greatly increases the xp earned from Meditating Woodland.
The update is nice but our focus is on completing the Part II quests and that means, beating the Golden Desert on Medium difficulty. To get there though we have to complete 30F of Mirage Tower, fight a bunch of Arena Battles, and of course, get through to the last level of the Golden Desert on Medium. It’s getting harder, requiring a larger team of highly leveled Skylanders. Watch to see if we can get it done!
On our way, we also get our last roll to finish off the “Roll The Dice” challenge. We also get enough tickets to where we might unlock a new Skylander!

Lately, Conner has been highly anticipating the release of Minecraft Dungeons. That’s why, when I saw this game called Riverbond show up as part of Xbox Game Pass, I thought it might be a game worth a try. Watch as I show the boys this new co-op action voxel game and see what we think!

Today we continue through more of our Part II Quests in an attempt to finish off the Dark Realm called The Mansion of Gloom. The tasks are getting longer but eventually, we do enough to get to the boss fight with Nightshade. On the way, we also explore the new event called Roll the Dice with Pop Fizz. We complete some challenges so that we can roll the dice! Check it out!

Today I show the boys a new free to play battle game called Minion Masters Forced to Duel. It uses many of the same free to play structures that we are used to, such as having a battle pass, daily challenges, and many different modes to play. There are a lot of systems at play so there is a lot to go over, but the boys seem very interested and ask a lot of good questions.
Give it a watch and let us know what you think of this game? Have you played it? Does it seem cool? Do you have any questions after watching this video? We have just barely begun to learn what this game has to offer, but so far I’m quite impressed with it. We’ll see if we stick with it for more than a season or not!
We’re playing this on the Xbox One, but it also seems to be out on Steam and Discord, so check it out!
