SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville (Official Release)

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville (Official Release)Today we take a look at the final release of Plants vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville. As you might expect, not much has been added. We do get a couple of gifts though, and we work our way down the Lawn of Doom Prize Map.

Then we each take a turn playing the game. Lias and Conner take turns playing Rando Ops the weekly event to try to get some extra challenges done. Then I take another look at the Arena since it didn’t work when we first tried the mode as part of the Founders Edition. Check it out!

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville (Founders Week 6)

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville (Founders Week 6)Here we are with the last Founders Edition update for Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville. Next week the full game will be released and we will take one last look to see what has changed.

This week though, the update is very thin. Basically, we just have a new weekly event called Space Nuts. It pits the Space Cadets vs the Acorns in a game of Suburbination. However, since our last video, we learned more about how we track our daily and weekly challenges for gaining levels for the Lawn of Doom event so we also take a look at that.

Lias and Conner take turns playing some multiplayer and this time we see some different results than we are used to. Check it out!

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville (Founders Week 5)

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville (Founders Week 5)This week’s update to Plants vs Zombies Battle For Neighorville, was a little it more of a surprise since the game’s “Road Map” didn’t call out anything specifically for this week. It did add a second single-player area for the zombies as well as a new weekly game mode variation. But it looks like the main update was a new season-long XP challenge where you can earn special cosmetic rewards for gaining levels in the time frame. It’s very much like a typical “season pass” that you would buy in other games, but here there is no cost. I think there are also supposed to be daily challenges, but I don’t think we found where those were, or maybe they will be coming soon. Check it out as we all three explore this new update.

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville (Founders Week 4)

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville (Founders Week 4)We’re back to take a look at week 4 of the Plants vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville Founders Edition. This week we get another new single-player area for the plants called Mount Steep. It’s another entire set of missions and gear to unlock.

There is also a timed event called “The Reinforcements”. From what we can tell it’s just Team Vanquish on various maps but you are only allowed to use the new plants. It’s an ok event, but it doesn’t seem like there is any reward for playing it, nor is there any specific “special” goal. It’s just a variation of a mode we’ve already played that will only be around for a week.

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville (Founders Week 3)

SkylanderNutts Presets Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville (Founders Week 3)Lias and I are back today to show you what is out in Week 3 of the Founders edition of Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville! Today the focus is on new multi-player modes. Three new modes have been released that must be played in a playlist. This means you will randomly get a mode to play and the modes will rotate each match. These modes are Gnome Bomb, Suburbination, and Vanquish Confirmed. These modes should be very familiar for anyone who played Garden Warfare 2.

The other mode is a PvE mode where you and 3 others protect the goal while waves of AI enemies come to try to destroy it. It’s either called Garden Ops or Graveyard Ops depending on the team you are on.

Watch as Lias and I play each of these new modes in our third look at Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville!

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville (Founders Week 2)

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville (Founders Week 2)Well, the boys really like the new Plants vs Zombies game, so they thought it would be a good idea to show each update the game has until launch. So today we show what came out in week 2 of the Founders Edition.

Week 2 brings us a new multiplayer mode called Team Vanquish. It’s an 8v8 team deathmatch mode where the first team to 50 vanquishes wins. In this mode reviving your teammates is critical as once they respawn you can get the point back. However, if you revive someone then the other team loses that vanquish.

We also take a look at the Weirding Woods, a newly unlocked quest area on the Zombies side of the map. Much like the town center for the Plants, the Weirding Woods provides a story and several quests that players can take on in single-player or in co-op. There are a lot of chests, secrets, collectibles and other things to find in these areas, and today we give you a taste of what that is like from the Zombies perspective.

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville (Founders Week 1)

SkylanderNutts Presents Plants vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville (Founders Week 1)The Zombies are back in Plants vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville! This game is basically Garden Warfare 3 but it’s now available to play in something that is between Early Access and a Beta. We bought the Founders edition on the Xbox One where the game is currently $10 cheaper than it will be at launch plus we get to play about 6 weeks early. In those six weeks, EA plans on introducing new modes and areas each week, in addition to giving founders special customization rewards. The game launches (officially) on October 18th.

Plants vs Zombies has been a household favorite for years in the SkylanderNutts house, so the boys were excited when I showed them this game. Watch and see what we think of the basic game in this early week 1 look.
