While one might normally expect a shield to be used defensively instead of as a spinning saw blade, such is not the case with Shield Shredder.
Shield Shredder is a new Life trappable villain character for Skylanders Trap Team. He can be trapped in a Life Crystal Trap and then be used as part of your Skylanders team. Shield Shredder is not a purchasable figure.
He has one other special variant in Riot Shield Shredder which was given away as an E3 2014 booth gift.
