Today we unbox the Wave 3 characters for Skylanders Imaginators. I think Lias does a pretty good job for only having the use of one arm. I probably struggle the most with the Enchanted Elven Forest Pack. Most of these characters can be found at Toys R Us, though a few of them are store specific. I expect many of them will start showing up at GameStop and Best Buy in the next week or two.

Today we decide to check out the Thumpin Wumpa Islands Adventure Pack for Skylanders Imaginators. We got ours with the special Crash Edition Starter Pack for the PS4. However, it is now starting to show up on store shelves for the holidays as a stand alone add-on. You can play it on any system.
This level seems to take slightly more co-operation than other levels and the boys are not in a very co-operative mood today. They get a little annoyed at each other during certain challenges. It’s pretty much what you’d expect a couple of competitive brothers to do.

Today I will take you through Chapter 4 of Skylanders Imaginators: Shellmont Shores. There isn’t too much to miss in this level. A couple of chests can be tricky hiding behind some debris. And there are a couple of hidden paths to find. But overall it’s not too bad if you are thorough with your searching. I’ll show you what you might have missed to get your three stars on Chapter 4 Shellmont Shores.

Today we thought it was time to try out the Arena in Skylanders Imaginators! The Arena has always been a good way to level up your characters quickly. Since we have quite a few Imaginators that need some leveling the boys decide to jump into the Arena and test their skill. They end up getting through the first six levels of the arena, and the arena doesn’t seem as tough as it has been in the past. We’ll probably do this again in the future and see how many more levels they can get through.

Today the boys continue the story by playing Chapter 7 – The Golden Arcade in Skylanders Imaginators. But first they need to play a little Creation Clash to unlock the level. Chapter 7 is then full of a bunch of carnival style mini-games. It also includes a little bit of that 2-D side scrolling gameplay they seem to squeeze into every game now. It’s only a very small portion of the level so I wonder if we’ll see any more of that style of a level later?

Today the boys play through two more Sensei Realms in Skylanders Imaginators. They play through the Undead Realm, and the Tech Realm. Then, in a bit of random luckiness they attack a rat and find the secret Rat Kingdom. Watch as they play through all three levels.

Today the boys and I unbox the three Legendary Creation Crystals for Skylanders Imaginators. These Legendary Crystals are exclusive to Toys R Us and each come with a Skylanders Micro Comic. Lias has a bit of a problem since he broke his arm earlier this week on the monkey bars at school, but he’s a trooper and does the best he can. In a couple weeks, we’ll do a special Legendary Creation Corner as we build some Legendary Imaginators for these crystals! Stay tuned!

Today I take a careful walkthrough of Chapter 3 Scholarville for Skylanders Imaginators. I find all of the Soul Gems, Treasure Chests, Legendary Selfie frames and the Troll Radio. Also, this level features two boss battles, as I fight the Bazooker Doomlander and the Evil Sea Monster. Check it out!
