Today the boys dive right into the Winter Tundra by playing through three levels. We start by tackling the Mystic Marsh before entering Cloud Temples and finishing the day with a visit to Robitica Farms. Today the boys play through Fracture Hills to earn the last Talisman they need to open the boss battle door. Then they take on Ripto and Gulp. Watch to see how they tackle this seemingly difficult boss!
Today we continue to make our way through the Autumn Plains in Ripto’s Rage. We start by entering the Metro Speedway, but the boys really dislike the flying challenge levels. So we quickly move on to Magma Cone where Conner is surprised at the lack of sympathy that the goats have for their friends. Then we finally move on to the Scorch level, where we meet a couple of strange kid spys, who I’m still not convinced are not just straight up evil. The characters in the worlds of Ripto’s Rage seem to keep getting stranger each time we visit one. Check it out and watch how the boys do in our next play of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy!
Today the boys play through a couple more levels of Spyro Ripto’s Rage. For whatever reason, they continue to try to get all of the orbs in this game. If you’ve watched them play before, you will know that this is not typical for them. They usually just like to do what they can and move on. I think it says something about the challenges in this game that they both feel that they are attainable and fun to do. So enjoy as we play through the next two levels of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy!
Today the boys explore more of the Autumn Plains before deciding to tackle Breeze Harbor. The level was going pretty well until we hit a minecart mini-game that was similar to a game like Temple Run. Well, this sparked a competition between all three of us, and we just couldn’t stop until we beat this challenge. Check it out!
Today the boys begin with a boss fight. Sure enough, Conner was right. When we unlock the door with the six collected Talismans, we end up entering Cursh’s Dungeon for a battle with Crush. Once the boys deal with him, they enter a new land called Autumn Plains. However, instead of exploring the new land, the boys just get right to business by going into the first two doors they see. So today we also play through Crystal Glacier and Skelos Badlands. Check it out!
Today the boys play the last two levels they have found in the Summer Forest world. After finding the talismans in both levels they should have enough to open the locked door. However, instead of just going straight for the talismans, the boys get hooked on trying to earn extra orbs. Watch and see how they do as they play through Hurricos and the unlocked Aquaria Towers.
Last week, I didn’t like the Go Pro we used as our main camera, so today we’re back to a normal non-fish-eyed view. The boys continue their game of Ripto’s Rage by playing through the Colossus and Sunny Beach levels. Lias finds a hockey mini-game and won’t quit until he masters it. The inclusion of a hockey mini-game is enough to make us claim that this is the best Spyro game of all time. Enjoy!
Today we start the second game in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy: Riptos Rage. The boys explore the new Summer Forest World as well as the Idol Springs level. We quickly find out that the gems are more important in this game because we will need them to buy new abilities. It doesn’t take long, but the boys already seem to like this game better than the first. Check it out!
