Today in our play of Skylanders Ring of Heroes, we get a break from clawing our way through the Veteran I quests. Instead, we explore Spyro’s Story as we play through the new Spyro Dungeon. Now if you’re not new to Skylanders then you are probably pretty well versed with Spyro’s story. It’s pretty much the same it was in the cartoon and in some of the comic books. However, while the details might not be new, the rewards for playing through are. We think the rewards are worthwhile as there are several upgrade stones available, which we think are key to getting the most out of your Skylander’s attacks. Enjoy our playthrough of Spyro’s story!

SkylanderNutts Presents Battle Chef Brigade
Anime, RPG elements, cooking, match 3, and platforming action battles are what makes Battle Chef Brigade a very interesting and addicting game. It came out in late 2017 but we are just now taking the time to check out this unusual game and it has put its hooks in me. I’m impressed by the story and the variety of ways they alter and make a match 3 game feel more strategic than ever before. I decided to show my cooking channel loving kids this game to see if they also enjoy the unique mixture of genres. Check it out and let us know what you think of Battle Chef Brigade!
Battle Chef Brigade is developed by Trinket Studios and published by Adult Swim Games. We are playing the game on the PS4, but it is also available on the PC and Switch. If you are a Microsoft Game Pass Ultimate subscriber you can even download the game for free at the moment for the PC.

First I must apologize for the longer than usual video. It’s not because we made a lot of good progress or explored interesting new games. No, we just tried to beat 10 Arena Duels for our Veteran I quest. Unfortunately, we were already ranked fairly high and had a hard time finding beatable opponents.
However, while we waited for reset timers to expire, we did fight Kaos, play in the Distorted Dimensions, and earn some money in the Cave of Gold. We even tried to beat Nightshade again. So check it out as we struggle to make our way to the end of our Veteran I quests.

Today we are able to show off a Guild War for the first time. With 7 hours to go, I’m able to get our team a small lead in this war. Unfortunately though after the video was over, the strength of the other team won out and we lost this one.
We also spend some time making our way through the Mansion of Gloom (Level 9) on Normal. We finish many of our Veteran I quests on the way, but when it comes time to fighting Nightshade, we have some problems.
Finally, we take a quick look at Trigger Happy’s Lucky Roulette. It’s another event that can earn you some extra rewards, but they’re not that great. Check it out!

Today the boys spend most of their time in Seashell Shore. They do a good job with the challenges in that level. Then Conner tries a flying level called Mushroom Speedway. It’s not the type of level that they like to try, but he sticks with it long enough to get another egg. Check it out!

I’ve been wanting to play The Turing Test for a while, but never got around to it. Now with it being free on Game Pass I finally jumped in. For those that maybe don’t know, it’s a story based first-person puzzle game that reminded me very much of the old game Portal. I liked it so much I wanted to show the boys to see if they could figure out the puzzles. So today Conner plays the first set of levels in the game with some help from his brother. Watch to see how he and Lias work out the puzzles!
The Turing Test is made by Bulkhead Interactive and is published by Square Enix. We are playing the game on the Xbox thanks to Game Pass but the game is also available on the PS4 and PC.

Today we explore the new ‘Pop Quiz’ event that has been introduced, we beat up on Kaos a bit, and we still can’t beat the 5F of the Realm of Souls. We also try to finish up the Rainbow Valley (Level 7) by taking on Pain-Yatta on Normal mode. Check it out as we continue to trek through the Veteran I quests of Skylanders Ring of Heroes!

Today the boys play through the next couple levels of Spyro the Year of the Dragon. Lias takes the lead due to Conner’s broken arm, but Conner doesn’t let his ailment slow him down. Both of them do a great job of exploring and chasing down those missing eggs and baby dragons. Check it out!
