Today the boys play Chapter 5: Sky Fortress for Skylanders Imaginators. They also do a little more exploring of the M.A.P. since the new level is in a newly unlocked section. As they play the level today they reach level 6 with their Imaginators so they both take some time to put on better equipment which they can now use. We end the video shortly after they earn their level stars even though it appears that there is an upcoming battle with the Guacamole Monster. SkylanderNutts Plays Imaginators (Chapter 5: Sky Fortress)
Welcome Portal Masters! Today I start my Walkthrough series of Skylanders Imaginators. In this series, I’m going to play through each chapter of the game, showing you where to find all of the chests, soul gems and other collectibles on the level. Unlike our SkylanderNutts Plays Imaginators series where the boys play through the level for the first time, in this series, I’ve already played through and found all of the collectibles so hopefully I can do it again in these videos. Imaginators Walkthrough (Chapter 1: Cradle of Creation)
Today the boys play Chapter 4: Shellmont Shores in Skylanders Imaginators. It seems like a rather long level though they do have a little problem working together and riding the vines. Surprisingly they find two Sensei Shrines, the Knight Shrine and the Bowslinger Shrine. At the end of the level they face-off against the Swashbuckler Doomlander. Watch to see how they do.

Today the boys try out a couple of the Sensei Realms in Skylanders Imaginators. These Realms are like optional levels where you can earn some extra gear and options for your Imaginators. They also explore a little more of the M.A.P. and find a couple more Sensei Realms for another day. Give it a watch as Conner and Lias take on the Fire and Earth Sensei Realms.

Today each of us take some time to create a new Skylanders Imaginator. Since the creation process can take a while, I decided it would be better if we made a separate video. So watch as Conner creates a Life Sorcerer, Lias creates an Earth Smasher, and I create a Dark Ninja. Starting today you can get the Legendary Magic Creation Crystal with Mirror, Mirror comic at Toys R Us. Over the next two weeks, you’ll be able to pick up two new Legendary Creation Crystals with comics. Next week on 11/6 the Legendary Light Creation Crystal will be available with the Arbor Day Comic. Then on 11/13 you can pick up the Legendary Life Creation Crystal with the Tri and Tri Again comic.
Today the boys take on Chapter 3: Scholarville in our next SkylanderNutts Plays Imaginators series. Lias powers through a rather difficult Creation Clash battle with a little help. We also realize that we will need to spend some time creating more Imaginators since we only had two and they lost them before they reached the Doomlander battle. Give it a watch!
SkylanderNutts Plays Imaginators (Chapter 3: Scholarville)
Are you ready to watch a brand new cartoon? Skylanders Academy debuts tomorrow (10/28/2016) on Netflix. The new cartoon is a Netflix original and is scheduled to have 13 episodes in season 1. Then in 2017 there will be 13 more. Hopefully, if it finds itself an audience we will be talking about more seasons of Skylanders Academy coming to Netflix after that. I know the boys and I are ready to spend our Friday night with some Pizza and a mini Skylanders Academy marathon. I’m sure we’ll finish the series by the end of the weekend. There will be a mixture of familiar voices and new voices as the cast of the show is not all the same as the cast of the game. The most notable and controversial change is that of Glumshanks. Fans have grown to love the likeable green sidekick of Kaos, but unfortunately for fans he will be voiced by well known comedian Norm McDonald. Now I happen to like Norm McDonald and he “might” be an OK Glumshanks but he can be a vary polarizing actor. (You either hate him or love him). I’m a little worried that he’s going to change the Glumshanks character too much.
Norm McDonald isn’t the only well known actor in the cast. Comedian Harland Williams (another love him or hate him guy) will voice Hugo, while the Academy Award winning actress Susan Sarandon will voice the Golden Queen. The Golden Queen is another well liked and voiced game character, so it will be interesting to see what an Academy Award winner can bring to the voice. Other changes, though much smaller, include Justin Long as the voice of Spyro. Justin Long was in Dodgeball, but many will probably recognize him from the Apple commercials where he played the “Mac” opposite of John Hodgeman who played “I’m a PC”. Ashley Tisdale from High School Musical and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody will play Stealth Elf, and Johnathan Banks from Breaking Bad will play Eruptor.
Some of the actors from the game are returning for the show including maybe the most important voice of all, Kaos played by Richard Horvitz. The distinctive and familiar voice of Ellis Greg will also return as the voice of Jet-Vac. Finally, even though he doesn’t have many lines in the game, the long time comedian and voice actor of Pop Fizz, Bobcat Goldthwait, will return and voice Pop Fizz in the TV Show. That’s another huge positive as far as I’m concerned.
So there you have it. If you didn’t know about Skylanders Academy before now you do. Most likely by the time you read this the show will already be available on Netflix. Check out the trailer below and then watch the show and let us know what you think!

Today the boys take on Chapter 2: Mushroom River in Skylanders Imaginators. First though they spend some time exploring the Academy and rescuing Flynn. They also take some time in the middle of the chapter to try out the creation crystals which leads to both boys creating their first character. That ends up making the video a little longer than normal but it does show the creation process. Check it out!
