SkylanderNutts Plays Imaginators - Racing 1Today we take a look at Racing inside Skylanders Imaginators. If you don’t know, last years game was centered around the SuperChargers and their vehicles. It turns out, that in order to race in Imaginators, you don’t need a SuperChargers character or a vehicle. You can race any of the basic 12 race tracks with a free “instant” vehicle. However, if you do have a SuperCharger vehicle, you can put that on the portal to unlock that vehicle for this game. From the looks of it, you can also put one of the racing packs on the portal to unlock potentially more courses and the villain vehicles. We may test this in a future episode.

Imaginators Legendary Creation Corner

Imaginators Legendary Creation CornerIn our third Creation Corner for Skylanders Imaginators, we create characters for our Legendary Crystals. Unfortunately, we don’t notice any advantage to the Imaginator because they are Legendary. We start with the Imaginators already at level 6. This gives us the ability to use any of our unlocked pieces. Conner makes a Light Sentinel, while Lias makes a Magic Quickshot and I create a very strange Life Bazooker. SkylanderNutts Plays Imaginators - Sensei Realms (Air and Dark)Today the boys explore the Air and Dark Sensei Realms for Skylanders Imaginators. They start off by using some of the new but weaker Skylanders we just unboxed. Eventually though they do need to put some of their favorites on the portal. These levels seem a little larger than previous ones with slightly tougher battles. The boys are also exploring a little more and they almost earn all three stars on one of the levels. Enjoy as they play through the fifth and six Sensei Realms!

Skylanders Imaginators Wave 3 Unboxing

Skylaners Imaginators Wave 3 UnboxingToday we unbox the Wave 3 characters for Skylanders Imaginators. I think Lias does a pretty good job for only having the use of one arm. I probably struggle the most with the Enchanted Elven Forest Pack. Most of these characters can be found at Toys R Us, though a few of them are store specific. I expect many of them will start showing up at GameStop and Best Buy in the next week or two.

SkylanderNutts Plays Imaginators Thumpin Wumpa IslandsToday we decide to check out the Thumpin Wumpa Islands Adventure Pack for Skylanders Imaginators. We got ours with the special Crash Edition Starter Pack for the PS4. However, it is now starting to show up on store shelves for the holidays as a stand alone add-on. You can play it on any system.

This level seems to take slightly more co-operation than other levels and the boys are not in a very co-operative mood today. They get a little annoyed at each other during certain challenges. It’s pretty much what you’d expect a couple of competitive brothers to do.

Imaginators Wave 3 Characters at Toys R Us

Skylanders Imaginators Wave 3Rumors have been swirling for a while now about Wave 3 Imaginators characters hitting store shelves. I can finally say that they have appeared at my local Toys R Us this weekend. I picked up everything but the Thumpin Wumpa Islands Adventure Pack, since we got that with the PS4 edition of the game. Also, strangely enough I did NOT see that adventure pack at Toys R Us, though you can pick it up from Target Online, so if you are looking for that watch for it to show up soon.

A couple of chests can be tricky hiding behind some debris. And there are a couple of hidden paths to find. But overall it’s not too bad if you are thorough with your searching.
